By improving basic components physical fitness such as endurance, strength, flexibility, speed and agility (coordinative ability) one can develop physical fitness
Endurance : endurance can be developed using continuous and interval running.

Aerobic endurance : During aerobic work the body is working at a level that the demands for oxygen and fuel can be met by the body’s intake. The only waste products formed are carbon dioxide and water. These are removed as sweat and by breathing out.
Speed endurance : speed endurance is be used to develop the contraction of muscle contraction in the climate of endurance. Competition and time trials can be used in the development of speed endurance.
Strength endurance : Strength endurance is used to develop the athlete’s capacity to maintain the quality of their muscles contractile force in a climate of endurance. Examples of activities to develop strength endurance are weight training, circuit training, hill running etc.
Strength : Strength is the ability to exert a force against a resistance.

Maximum strength - the greatest force that is possible in a single maximum contraction.
Explosive strength - the ability to overcome a resistance with a fast contraction.
