Overall dimensions:

Length: 18 meters (59 feet)
Width: 9 meters (29.5 feet)


Specific areas:
Playing area: This is the rectangular area within the court boundaries where the actual game is played. It measures 9 meters by 9 meters (29.5 feet by 29.5 feet).
Attack zone: This is the 3-meter (9.8-foot) area in front of the net where players are allowed to jump and spike the ball.
Service zone: This is the area behind the end line where players serve the ball. It extends 9 meters (29.5 feet) from the end line.
Free zone: This is the area outside of the playing court boundaries. It must be clear of any obstructions so that players have room to move around.

Net:
Height: The top of the net should be 2.43 meters (7 feet 11 5/8 inches) above the center of the court for men's competition, and 2.24 meters (7 feet 4 1/8 inches) for women's competition.
Width: The net should be 1 meter (39.4 inches) wide.

Lines:
All lines: All lines on the court should be 5 centimeters (2 inches) wide.
Center line: The center line divides the court into two equal halves.
Attack line: The attack line is 3 meters (9.8 feet) from the center line on each side of the court.
End lines: The end lines mark the boundaries of the court at each end.

Special Cases:
Men's 55-69 age group: Can lower the net to 7 feet 7 inches (2.31 meters).
Men's 70+ age group: Can lower the net further to 7 feet 3 inches (2.21 meters).
Boys' and Girls' Juniors (Ages 11+ & 12+): Often use a net between 7 feet 0 inches and 7 feet 4 inches (2.13 meters and 2.24 meters).
Boys' and Girls' Juniors (under 10): Nets can be even lower, down to 6 feet 6 inches (1.98 meters).

Sitting Volleyball:
Men's teams: 3 feet 9.28 inches (1.15 meters).
Women's teams: 3 feet 5.34 inches (1.05 meters).
